1. Light: It prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight but should be protected from intense midday sun to avoid leaf burn.
2. Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly but infrequently, as overwatering can cause root rot. During winter, reduce watering.
3. Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. Adding perlite or pumice to the soil can enhance drainage and prevent root rot.
4. Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Protect it from frost and very cold temperatures.
5. Fertilizing: Feed with a diluted, balanced fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in the fall and winter.
